Another freelance gig, working for Neill Gorton's Millennium FX. This was for a Food Standards Agency 'hygiene in the kitchen' infomercial. The camera zooms in on a chopping board and we see these potato-headed 'germ' characters milling around. If that's not surreal enough for you, this whole thing was directed by a guy who had done episodes of The Sopranos. I don't make this stuff up.

i sculpted this lady germ in wet clay - the 'spattered' effect is to create the appearance of skin texture. We used wet clay for speed, because the schedule was insanely tight. How tight? The background masks ended up being ladies' stockings stuffed with cotton wool. The special effects gods must've been smiling down on me, because I wasn't available to go on set for the shoot!
