2001 verdict: These are stop-motion puppets and
sets from Stitches, my graduation
project at film school. They have their share of problems –
the sculpts need cleaning up, and looking at them today the ragged seam lines
down the side of the characters’ arms and bodies are especially jarring and
obvious. But, y’know… the overall effect is cute. Mischievous-looking little
puppet guys are always a crowd-pleaser for some reason! (Sculpted in
Plastiline and Super Sculpey, moulded in plaster, cast in latex, painted with
acrylics/latex mix) |
