2001 verdict: An unwritten law of creature
effects: every portfolio must have its Rick Baker/Planet Of The Apes-inspired
monkey head…! I never got to finish this one
properly: I was halfway through sculpting it when I had to vacate my student
digs. Knowing it would never survive the move, I rushed out into the back
yard and quickly took this photo, hence the brick wall… Even at the time I regarded it as a
bit of a minor effort, although it was actually singled out as one of the
better pieces in my portfolio. |
