2001 verdict: I like the concept behind this one –
the impossibly thin, cadaverous face, kind of Iggy Pop squared – but I’m not
keen on the execution. The bone structures are too fanciful and
unnatural-looking. I redid this design for the
ScareMongers Frank mask, to much better
effect, I think. (Sculpted in plastiline, moulded in
plaster, cast in latex, painted with acrylics/latex mix, crêpe hair) |
