2001 verdict: A bit of a pointless exercise, in
the sense that I actually sculpted this from scratch. However, the face is so
characterless probably most people would assume that it’s taken from a
lifecast. As I recall, the photo does this a lot of favours – it didn’t even
look as good as this in real life! (Sculpted in plastiline, moulded in
plaster, cast in latex, painted with acrylics/latex mix, crêpe hair eyebrows) |
